Why Choose a Home Battery Backup?

A home battery system stores excess energy from your solar panels or grid power for later use. This means that during power outages or peak demand hours, you’ll have a reliable source of energy to keep your home running smoothly. No more worries about blackouts—just peace of mind knowing your home is always powered.

Here’s why this rebate is a game-changer:

  • Significant Savings: Get up to $13,000 back to reduce the cost of installing your home battery system when moving from NEM 1 or 2 to NEM 3.
  • Energy Independence: Gain control over your energy use by storing power for when you need it most.
  • Eco-Friendly: Reduce your reliance on the grid and make the most of your renewable energy.

Additional Details

  • You must be a Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) customer or switch from PG&E to 3CE. Allterra can help you with this!
  • You must be on Net Billing Tariff ($300/kWh rebate) or switch to Net Billing Tariff ($500/kWh rebate) – Allterra can help you with this!
  • Rebate is available for as little as 5 kWh up to a maximum of 26 kWh. Battery installations over 26 kWh will receive the maximum rebate amount (3CE will incentivize up to 26 kWh, even if the actual battery is larger).
  • Batteries must be installed by a contractor licensed in California.
  • You do not have to have solar to be eligible for the rebate.
  • Rebate check is mailed after installation.

Don’t Miss This Limited-Time Offer!

This rebate won’t last long, so if you’ve been considering a home battery backup, now’s the time to act. With the rebate covering a significant portion of the installation costs, it’s never been more affordable to secure reliable backup power for your home.
